Hi all,
The end of the year is fast approaching and things are quickly gearing up for the Christmas/New Year madness. I am sure there is no need to tell you about the stock supply chain issues in the world at present and the Rod Building industry is being impacted as much as any. We have been trying to stay on top of it but some things are totally out of our control so bear with us through these challenging times. We are doing our best to keep stock available or at least be able to offer you an alternative.

SAMURAI CG3 BLANKS

The new range of Samurai CG3 blanks have been available for a few months now and we have had a good response from those of you that have already purchased and built them. They are designed for Australian fishing and are a premium quality blank at a budget price. Good stocks are available at present. The available models are listed on the website with some new models including Surf in the new year, so stay tuned for that.

PACIFIC BAY/RODSMITH ROD LATHE

At present there is a supply issue with sourcing the Alps lathes, which have always been our number one seller as they are great value for money and extremely reliable. We have been advised that there will be no stock of the Alps lathe available until Jan 2022. As an alternative we have sourced the Pac Bay/RodSmith 8' unit, equally reliable and good value, retailing at $695.

SNAKE BRAND ECOating FLY GUIDES&TIPS

The response from the fly rod building community of these guides since we have had in stock has been fantastic and greater than I had anticipated. There are definitely a lot more fly fishers out there than I thought. We have good stock at present of these, so those of you that want premium quality snake guides and tips you can't overlook these.
